Treatment-of-termite infestation requires professional help from our trained teams. Holes are drilled 1 meter apart around the perimeter of the structure into the foundations where the soil is compacted in preparation for treatment. Thereafter the holes are closed neatly with cement or plugs.

Termite Facts and Types:

Subterranean termites, so called because they are mostly found below the surface, unlike wood termites. These colonies can grow to over 2 million termites which consume cellulose-based plant materials found in wood used in construction and are a source of food for the subterranean termites. Once subterranean termites have discovered the wood, they alert the rest of their colony and the feeding frenzy begins as they use the wood as their food source, causing extensive damage.

Because they consume wood from the inside. They are difficult to detect and are often only found once the wood is already destroyed. They eat the inside of skirtings, furniture, wendy houses and wooden floors, gaining access by building distinctive “Mud Tubes” through cracks in concrete to access the wood, thereby protecting themselves from open air and remaining hidden from view.

Termites mostly attack your lawn and garden. Making nests inside the soil and small holes which emerge from the soil. The ants are active around midday, chopping pieces of grass to take to their nests. Although harvesters can also be found in foundations. They are less common than subterranean termites.

Dry wood termites thrive inside dried out wood timbers and burrows and do not require contact with soil.
